Requirement for different passport types
EU Nationals
EU citizens require a visa to enter Nigeria, regardless of the length of stay. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned stay.
United Kingdom
Holders of British passports also need a visa to travel to Nigeria. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned stay.
Other African Countries

Steps to Apply for a Nigerian Visa
1. Complete the Visa Application Form
Visit the Nigeria Immigration Service website (https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/) to complete the visa application form.
2. Pay the Visa Fee
Make the required payment online, and obtain a payment receipt.
3. Provide a Valid Passport
Your passport must:
Be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel date.
Contain at least two blank pages.
4. Passport Photograph
Submit recent passport-sized photographs that meet Nigerian visa standards.
5. Proof of Accommodation
Provide evidence of your accommodation arrangements, such as a hotel booking or an invitation letter from your host.
6. Return Ticket
Include a copy of your return ticket as proof of your planned departure from Nigeria.
7. Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
A valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for all travelers entering Nigeria.
8. Additional Documents for Specific Visits
If visiting family/friends: Include an invitation letter and a copy of the host's Nigerian ID or residence permit.
9. Attend a Visa Interview
