The year was 2018 when Urcil and Charles first met. It was at a wedding in Lagos Nigeria, where their path was destined to cross as they both flew in from abroad.

Charles was a groomsman who travelled from England and Urcil was a guest of the groom travelling from Sweden.

As the groomsmen were getting ready and adding their finishing touches, Urcil was standing besides the groom which was when Charles first laid eyes on her. He was not shy to approach what he liked. Charles reached out his hand as a gentleman to introduce himself and Urcil did the same. Little did they know that this handshake was the beginning of their very own love story.

Another day went by and they were back together for part 2 of the wedding. Charles continued to let Urcil know that he was interested. He was determined to get Urcil and was blocking anyone that came in his way (you would think it was rugby lol). Charles effort was recognized and rewarded as Urcil finally had her eyes on him as well. They exchanged numbers, and from that day onwards, there was not a single day that the couple were not in contact.

They flew back to their respective countries. Although there was distance between them, this did not stop their love from growing. One meetup after the wedding eventually led to multiple meetups, flying to see one another on a regular basis.

After numerous of flights and adventures together, Charles decided he wanted to spend the rest of his life with the girl he had randomly met at his friend's wedding 4 years ago.

On February 4th 2023, Charles asked Urcil the ultimate question in front of their friends and family.

Spoiler Alert, She said YES!
